About RaiseTheBarr
Raise The Barris a two-generation (2Gen) organization co-founded in 2016 by former NFL linebacker Anthony Barr and his mother, Lori Barr. We work to increase economic mobility for single parent student families in Minnesota and California by tackling the practical and systemic barriers that make finishing college hard, including housing instability, financial strain, lack of social capital, and caregiving demands. Our programming brings together academic persistence, financial stability, and whole-family well-being so parents and children can thrive together.
