Culinary Chef

We are looking for a self-motivated energetic chef with store and/or restaurant experience to operate and manage a growing seafood market, off premise catering,and Food Truck business. Candidates should be experienced in the restaurant or Food Truck industry and have a strong culinary background. This position also oversees the staff of the seafood market and food truck, manage inventory, cooks and prepares salads, soups and seafood for the market. This is a full-time salaried position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
• Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
• Check freshness and quality of food
• Assist in the development of new and exciting menu items
• Standardize recipes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
• Knowledge of cost and labor systems
• Passion for food and cooking techniques
• Strong leadership qualities
