Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) – Peoria, IL

Avento Health is recruiting a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based residential settings in Peoria, Illinois.
This position is a strong fit for professionals with experience in IDD/DD services, residential programs, case management, service coordination, program supervision, or Direct Support Professional (DSP) leadership who meet the education and experience requirements for QIDP work.
The QIDP coordinates person-centered services, completes required assessments and documentation, supports and trains direct-care staff, monitors service quality, and works closely with guardians and interdisciplinary team members.
What You’ll Need
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
Professionals with backgrounds in IDD services, residential services, case management, service coordination, community-based programs, program supervision, or DSP leadership are encouraged to apply if they meet the education and experience requirements.
What You’ll Do
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a full-time, community-based position supporting individuals in residential settings in and around Peoria.
Work hours are assigned based on program needs. Some flexibility is required to respond to emergency or urgent situations when necessary.
The position involves travel between assigned residential locations and may include supporting individuals who experience challenging or aggressive behaviors.
Mileage reimbursement is available for approved work-related travel.

Additional Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to obtain required competencies or certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration within established timeframes.
Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
