Job Description
As an Electrical Assembler, you will perform point-to-point wiring and component assembly by following detailed work instructions (MEWIs). This is not electrical panel building. Instead, you’ll follow step-by-step instructions showing where individual wires and components need to beinstalledfor example, connecting wire A to one location and wire B to another.
This position is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working with wiring, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to accuracy. You’ll also use hand and power tools and may perform basic crimping and soldering.
Responsibilities
- Perform point-to-point wiring according to MEWIs/work instructions
- Follow detailed instructions to correctly route and connect wires and components
- Assemble electrical components and harnesses
- Use hand and power tools during assembly
- Perform basic crimping and learn basic soldering as needed
- Carefully verify wire placement and connections for accuracy
- Maintain quality while working at the required production pace
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous electrical assembly, wiring, harness assembly, or similar experience preferred
- Point-to-point wiring experience is a plus
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions/MEWIs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow wire placement instructions
- Basic experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to learn basic soldering and crimping
- Dependable attendance and ability to work required overtime
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

The base salary for this position is $17.50/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
