As the RN Charge Nurse / Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of your assigned unit while supporting your nursing team and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring quality resident care
Supervising and supporting LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff
Providing direct nursing care as needed, including assessments, medications, and treatments
Monitoring residents' conditions and ensuring timely interventions
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborating with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Developing and implementing effective care plans
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Training, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff
Promoting a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
Following infection control practices, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate, resident-focused approach
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Commitment to providing excellent care while maintaining the dignity and well-being of our residents
