Primarily involved in breaking down loads for the batch furnaces. Also involved with helping continuous furnace operators and completing miscellaneous jobs throughout the shop.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verify that all operations listed on the Job Process Card have been completed.
- Obtain proper containers and maintain traceability of product/paperwork throughout process.
- Weigh/count empty containers prior to placing parts in container.
- Obtain the correct number of samples for inspection and provide parts/paperwork to lab.
- Place parts in container according to job card instructions.
- Weigh/count full containers prior to moving containers to proper hold area.
- Apply Rust Inhibitor per job card instructions.
- Be able to identify non-conforming product with respect to job duties.
- Work area kept neat and trash removed each shift.
- Operate forklift truck as required.
