What You’ll Get to Own

You’ll lead programs that help individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment, connect with community resources, build independence, and reach their goals.

You’ll oversee employment and community resource programs while developing your team, building partnerships, tracking results, managing resources, and finding better ways to serve our communities.

You’ll Have the Opportunity to

• Lead, coach, and develop employment and community resource teams
• Oversee employment, community resource, transition, and mobile crew programs
• Build partnerships with employers, schools, service providers, and community organizations
• Help create new employment and community opportunities for individuals with disabilities
• Manage program goals, budgets, resources, and performance
• Use KPIs and outcomes to identify what’s working and what needs to improve
• Develop staff through training and coaching
• Lead and improve projects, programs, processes, and community initiatives
• Collaborate across RISE and throughout the communities we serve
• Turn ideas and community needs into programs and partnerships that create meaningful results

What You’ll Need

A bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, business administration, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience may be considered.

You’ll also need at least two years of experience in community-based services, employment services, or case management and two years of supervisory or leadership experience. Experience building community partnerships, managing budgets, working with community resources or vocational rehabilitation, and tracking program outcomes will help you succeed.

This is a community-facing leadership position, so you’ll need to be comfortable traveling throughout our service area and occasionally working outside traditional hours when programs or situations require it.
