Pay Rate
$18.00per hour
Schedule and Hours
Schedule:TypicallyMonday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible with start and end times as business needs may require occasional schedule adjustments.
Assignment Duration: Temporary position through January 31, 2027
Temporary Shipping Clerk-Duties and Responsibilities
- Check truck drivers in and out of the facility.
- Communicate professionally with truck drivers regarding shipping and receiving activities.
- Review, process, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation.
- Verify shipping paperwork for accuracy andmaintainrecords.
- Assist with inventory organization and warehouse operations.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and quality before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other shipping and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Temporary Shipping Clerk-QualificationsandRequirements
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Experience handling shipping paperwork and Bills of Ladingisa plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with truck drivers, vendors, and team members.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
