Absolute Energy Solutions is a small, family owned residential and commercial generator contractor that is seeking an individual to install and maintain Generac automatic generators. We service 2000+ generators in the central Pennsylvania region. You will be installing and servicing approximately 90% residential generators and 10% commercial generators. This position will regularly be in customer’s homes, so a clean appearance and customer service skills are vital. Training will be provided.

Basic responsibilities include:

• Automatic generator installation
• Automatic generator maintenance and repair
• Taking customer payments on site
• Properly filling out work orders
• Filing warranty claims when needed

The following experience/knowledge is required:

• Working knowledge of electrical theory and electrical code
• Basic mechanical understanding

The following experience/knowledge are preferable but not required:

• Small and large engine repair
• Plumbing/gas line experience

Hours:Full Time. Typical working hours are from 7am-3:30pm. Overtime occasional available at time and a half rate. As a generator contractor, we are required to provide 24/7/365 service for our customers. As a technician you will be placed on an after-hours emergency generator service rotation. When on call, you will be required to take emergency calls and occasionally make emergency repair home visits. Although our technicians rarely have to make middle-of-the-night service calls, it is an essential benefit available to our customers. You will be paid double time for any after-hours site visits.
