Payment Coordinator

Location: Galveston, TX
Temporary (60-day contract)

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring an experienced Payment Coordinatorin Galveston! If you have experience with financial banking operations, we want to hear from you.

• Responsible for managing and resolving disputes related to share drafts.
• Processing wires
• Handling liens, levies, subpoenas and reclamations according to the credit union procedures
• Perform account verifications
• Preparing monthly reconciliation reports and assist with shared branching reports and adjustments
• Processing accounts payables and receivables
• Assist with other necessary tasks as needed

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial operations or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of wire processing and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Minimum of a High School diploma or similar educational background
