Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of electronics packaging experience OR Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with hardware development and electro-mechanical packaging
• Experience in at least one of the following: thermal analysis, structural analysis, microelectronics design, opto-mechanical design, or environmental testing
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tool Siemens NX (Creo if not NX) and product data management tools
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including design reviews and stakeholder/customer briefings
• Bachelors – STEM degree
• Active Secret Clearance

Job Description

Design, develop, analyze, and integrate ruggedized electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in military applications. This engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from requirements and concept development through production and environmental testing. They will solve complex technical problems, conduct analyses, support manufacturing and suppliers, lead design reviews, and help drive innovative solutions that meet performance, cost, and schedule objectives.
