Multifamily Construction Project Manager

We are currently seeking aMultifamilyConstruction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. In this role, this individual will work closely with the onsiteapartmentmanagementteam,FCP construction and asset managers, and other corporate personnel. This positioninvolves consistent travel toproperties throughout the states of Texas and the Southwest.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partnerwith onsite teamsand other FCP professionalsto survey the construction needs andidentifyopportunitiesacrossmultifamily properties; and translate those needs and opportunities into long-term capital improvement plans

• Write scopes of work for projects in the long-term capital improvement plans, bid them outto 3rdparty vendors,and contract with vendors to complete the projects

• Managethe completion of projects bymonitoringprogress;ensuringthat workplace safety standards are upheld;and holdingcontractors accountable to complete work on time, within budget andin accordance withthescopeof work

• Maintain constant communication with onsiteapartmentteam andFCP professionals by providing frequentproject updates

• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum5years’construction managementor senior property maintenanceexperience

• Experience managing multifamily renovation, repositioning, or capital improvement projects is preferred

• In-depth understanding ofresidentialbuilding mechanical systems,renovation procedures,and material

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage vendor and contractor relationships

• Proficient with MicrosoftWord/Excel;and proficient at learningadditionalprograms

• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• A team-oriented mindset and leadership abilities

• Valid driverlicense and willingness to travel regularly to project sites
