Behavior Technician Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician in San Francisco, CA to support K-12 students in a school-based setting. This full-time Behavior Technician position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students develop positive behaviors, improve social skills, and achieve success in the classroom.

As a Behavior Technician, responsibilities include:

Providing direct 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students
Implementing behavior intervention plans and reinforcement strategies
Assisting students with social, emotional, and behavioral development
Collecting and documenting behavioral data to support student progress
Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and parents to promote positive outcomes
Helping create a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment
Behavior Technician Requirements

Previous experience working with children or students with behavioral needs preferred
Experience in special education, ABA, or behavioral support is a plus
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Passion for supporting student growth and success
