Paraprofessional

Location: Windsor, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our educational team in Windsor, California. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social success in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
Provide instructional support to students individually and in small groups.
Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and daily classroom activities.
Support students with academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs.
Reinforce learning concepts and encourage student participation.
Assist with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and record keeping.
Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, field trips, and other school events as assigned.
Help implement behavior intervention plans and accommodations outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to support student success.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district policies.


Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree, completion of college coursework, or paraprofessional certification preferred.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting students with special education needs.
Knowledge of classroom behavior management techniques.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
