Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) and Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) are looking for an organized, dependable, and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team!
As the first person children, families, visitors, and employees meet, you will help create a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors. About KULA and MKSAKids Unlimited Learning Academy and Miracle Kids Success Academy provide Early Intervention Day Treatment services to children with developmental disabilities, developmental delays, and medical needs.
Our programs support children experiencing:
Fine and gross motor delays
Speech and language delays
Sensory processing needs
Feeding disorders
Cognitive and developmental delays
Hearing disorders
Medical needs
Our multidisciplinary teams include teachers, teaching assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, nutrition professionals, and audiology providers. Together, we partner with children and their families to provide individualized, coordinated care in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
KULA and MKSA primarily serve children from birth through kindergarten, with opportunities to expand services to elementary school-aged children during the summer.
Position PurposeThe Receptionist manages the front desk, welcomes families and visitors, supports clinic security procedures, and performs essential clerical and administrative duties. This position helps the clinic operate smoothly by providing responsive customer service, maintaining accurate records, and assisting leadership and other team members with daily office needs.
What You'll DoCreate a Welcoming ExperienceGreet children, families, employees, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
Answer and screen incoming telephone calls, respond to basic questions, and take accurate messages.
Monitor front-desk traffic and help ensure that only authorized individuals enter the clinic.
Ensure patients and visitors follow all required sign-in procedures.
Provide courteous and helpful assistance to families throughout their interactions with the clinic.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
File correspondence, records, and other documents accurately.
Receive, review, and route incoming mail to the appropriate person.
Prepare outgoing mail, email correspondence, and faxes.
Scan, copy, and organize documents as needed.
Complete word-processing assignments, check requests, and documentation updates.
Track office supplies and submit requests to the Clinic Director for approval.
Respond appropriately to authorized requests for copies of patient medical records.
Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of patient, family, and employee information.
Perform daily status checks of Medicaid patient treatment eligibility.
Organize and store medical records after a patient is discharged from the clinic.
Locate and attach applicable records or files to correspondence.
Assist clinic leadership with clerical and administrative responsibilities.

Basic computer proficiency, including databases, word-processing programs, spreadsheets, email, and internet-based software.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, understand, and apply safety rules, policies, procedures, and other company documents.
Ability to prepare routine reports and professional correspondence.
Ability to perform basic business math.
Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions.
