Staff Accountant

Ricky Pasquet with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Staff Accountant role for a growing Reno based company. My client is seeking a 1-3 year accounting professional with general ledger experience, and a BS Degree in Accounting to help them transition to a public company. The position is expected to be in office, five days per week in Reno. There is great opportunity for growth as the company embarks on a new chapter! This is a straight up GL Accountant role, reporting to the Controller.

• Experience preparing journal entries within an accounting environment that requires strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of general ledger maintenance and financial record accuracy.
• Familiarity with month-end close activities and deadline-driven reporting cycles.
• Ability to complete account reconciliations and research variances effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily accounting work.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
