Accounts Payable Assistant

Reports to the CFO

Part-time M-F, preferred hours 10:00am – 2:00pm

approximately 20 hours per week

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable invoice coding and input in Accounting Information System (AIS)
  • AP check scanning, processing and filing
  • Credit card charge coding in MS excel, matching and filing receipts
  • Entering journal entries into AIS
  • Assisting Billing Manager with scanning and filing PO orders
  • Miscellaneous "go for" errands such as picking up doctor lunches, dry cleaning, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on the computer
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 20 lbs for food delivery and box filing
  • Must be comfortable driving. Reliable transportation is required.

We encourage those who possess organizational ability to apply. Three years of accounting assistant experience is preferred. This is a temporary, part time position that will be assisting the CFO of our practice. Must have reliable transportation.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
