Location: Downtown St. Louis, MO Pay: $24.20/hour Job Type: Contract to Possible Hire Work Model: Onsite Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Shift: 12-hour overnight shifts Weekend Work: May be needed based on production needs

About the Job:

We are looking for a dependable Overnight Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing team in Downtown St. Louis.

You will help keep production moving by safely moving materials, keeping work areas clean, and making sure production teams have what they need.

You will use a forklift and other equipment to move materials around the facility. You will also use a computer to track materials and inventory.

This is a contract-to-possible-hire position, which means you may have the chance to become a permanent employee based on your performance and the company’s needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Move raw materials and finished products around the facility.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Bring materials to production areas when they are needed.
• Move and organize bins and containers.
• Clean and empty bins and containers.
• Remove trash and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Use a computer system to track materials and inventory.
• Enter information into SAP and other computer systems.
• Help keep production lines stocked and running.
• Help with cleaning and equipment changes.
• Complete basic paperwork and production records.
• Follow all safety and quality rules.
• Wear required safety equipment.
• Work with your team to meet daily goals.
• Help with other tasks when needed.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience is helpful, but training may be available.
• Ability to learn how to safely use forklifts and other equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn SAP.
• Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good attendance and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during your shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts.
• Ability to work weekends when needed.

Important Requirement:

This job may require you to wear an air respirator for safety. If a respirator is required, you must be clean-shaven where the respirator touches your face so it can seal properly.
