EPIC TOURS LLC in Emmaus, PA is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet running at peak performance. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and fleet equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software
- Conduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and drivetrain servicing
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged components including brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems
- Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs and parts used
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and DOT compliance standards
- Collaborate with fleet managers to prioritize and schedule preventive maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computerized repair systems
- ASE certification or equivalent trade school/vocational training preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
