As a Transportation Assistant, you’ll provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for our residents to:
What You'll Do:
Safely transport residents using authorized company vehicles
Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs and mobility equipment
Operate wheelchair lifts and securement systems
Complete routine vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Maintain transportation logs and required documentation
Communicate with nursing staff regarding schedules and resident needs
Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to our residents
Help keep our vehicles safe, clean, fueled, and ready for daily use
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 25 years old
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs
CPR & First Aid certification required or obtained within the required timeframe
Previous passenger transportation experience preferred
