Production and Packaging Assistant

Location: The Caramel Tree – Rigby, ID
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible around school schedules
Hours: Part-time, typically a few hours per week

At The Caramel Tree, we make and package small-batch caramel products that are sold through our retail store, online, and to wholesale customers across the country.

We’re looking for a dependable part-time team member to help package our caramel bags and assist with other simple production and packaging tasks. This is a great job for a high school student or someone looking for a few flexible hours each week.

Most of your time will be spent helping us get finished products packaged and ready to sell.

Typical tasks include:

• Filling and packaging bags of caramel
• Weighing products to make sure each package is correct
• Sealing bags and applying labels
• Assembling boxes and other packaging
• Packing finished products into cases
• Preparing packaging materials for production
• Keeping your work area clean and organized
• Helping with other simple production tasks as needed

• Shows up on time and is dependable
• Can follow instructions and pay attention to details
• Works steadily without needing constant supervision
• Takes pride in doing things correctly
• Keeps a clean and organized workspace
• Is comfortable doing repetitive tasks
• Works well with the rest of the production team

This job involves standing for periods of time, working with your hands, and occasionally lifting boxes or supplies.

This is a straightforward, hands-on job and could be a great fit for a high school student looking to earn some money, build work experience, and work a few hours each week in a small production environment.
