JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the assembly of custom engineered Pressure Relief Devices. These devices constitute two, three or four-piece components of various custom engineered components made from mostly stainless steel that are prepared into kits, placed into a custom fixture that is then cycled into an automated laser welding machine, and then removed for checking and packaging.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Using manual, semi-automated or automated presses to perform work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials to create precision components manufactured in progressive die sets
- Operate 30-ton Minster press, 110 ton Servo press and associated test press
- Configuring equipment, feeding material onto the equipment and feeding material through the die and removing parts from the die.
- Measuring and qualifying finished product
- Complete paperwork and documents associated with each order
- Manufacture products from work orders, drawings, engineering instructions and other related control documents
- Follow requirements set forth from the Quality Department
- Help and train other personnel as directed by Supervisor.
- Observes safety rules.
- Suggests methods to improve efficiency and safety on the shop floor.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
