The Courier Driver is responsible for efficiently picking up and delivering packages across the Greater Houston/Galveston area using their personal vehicle. This role requires someone familiar with local routes or able to effectively follow GPS directions. The driver will handle packages weighing between 1 to 35 pounds from both local businesses and personal residences while maintaining clear communication and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Navigate routes accurately using GPS on Android or iPhone devices
- Pick up packages from local businesses and personal residences
- Deliver packages safely and on time
- Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Follow directions precisely to ensure accurate deliveries
Qualifications
- Have Standard size SUV, small Van or cargo van
- 1+ years of experience in delivery driving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficient with GPS navigation
- Strong time management skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Customer service oriented
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Pass Drug Screening & Criminal Background check
