Textile Weaving Machine Operator

The Textile Weaving Machine Operator is responsible for managing and operating weaving machines such as shuttle looms and rapier looms during standard daytime hours. This role involves setting up threads, inspecting fabric quality, monitoring production processes, and handling inventory to ensure smooth textile manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle and rapier weaving machines efficiently and safely
• Set up threads and adjust machinery for optimal fabric production
• Inspect fabric quality and identify defects promptly
• Monitor production to maintain consistent output during day shifts
• Handle inventory related to machine operation and production materials

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating textile weaving machinery
• Familiarity with shuttle and rapier weaving machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Knowledge of quality control and safety standards
