About the job
The Production Technician is responsible for cleaning, processing, inspecting, and preparing
precision customer components while following detailed production procedures and maintaining
high quality and safety standards.
We're looking for someone who
Has a high school diploma or equivalent
Has experience in chemical handling, precision cleaning, or a manufacturing/production
environment
Is comfortable using computers, typing accurately, and navigating standard business
applications
Can write clear, professional emails and communicate effectively with team members
Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating industrial equipment
such as pressure washers, hoists, or pallet jacks
Has excellent attention to detail and can follow detailed technical instructions
Understands basic safety practices, chemical hygiene, and proper PPE usage
Works well independently and as part of a team
Has experience in a semiconductor or medical cleaning environment (preferred)
Has experience using manufacturing execution systems (MES) or other production tracking
software (preferred)
Has experience with industrial degreasers, specialty detergents, or processing delicate
components (preferred)
What you'll do
Process customer parts through multi-stage chemical cleaning systems, rinse stations, and
processing baths
Prepare parts using baskets, hooks, hoists, and other fixtures to ensure safe handling
throughout production
Operate and monitor chemical immersion tanks using process-specific detergents and
chemicals
Perform high-pressure washing to remove contaminants from precision machined
components
Safely move heavy parts and fixtures using overhead hoists and other material handling
equipment
Hand-process delicate, high-precision components with care to prevent scratches or
damage
Use high-pressure nitrogen (N2) and compressed dry air (CDA) equipment to dry
components in a particle-controlled environment
Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions for cleaning, rinsing,
passivation, and related production processes
Wear required personal protective equipment and safely handle chemical cleaning agents
Perform bead blasting to clean, deburr, and create uniform surface finishes on metal
components
Inspect parts before and after processing to verify quality and prevent contamination,
damage, or part loss
Separate materials prior to processing to prevent cross-contamination and chemical
reactions
Identify contaminants such as oils and cutting fluids before processing to maintain
chemical bath integrity
Perform water-break-free testing to verify proper cleaning results
Maintain accurate production records and process documentation
Communicate non-conformance issues by documenting and emailing detailed updates to
supervisors
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be comfortable standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift
Must be able to safely work with chemical cleaning agents and high-pressure equipment
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while handling precision components in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment
