A well-established general contractor with roughly 150 employees is adding a Project Manager to its growing team. This firm has built a strong regional reputation delivering both tenant improvement and ground-up commercial and industrial projects, and maintains a steady pipeline of upcoming work. The right candidate will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and coordination with Superintendents to ensure work stays on track and is delivered to spec.

Responsibilities:
- Overseecommercialconstructionprojectsfromstarttofinish,drawingon5-10+yearsofrelevantfieldandofficeexperience
- Readandinterpretdrawings,specifications,andinspectionreportstoensureaccurateexecution
- Buildandmaintainprojectbudgetsandschedules
- Applysoundconstructionpracticesandprojectmanagementfundamentalsthroughouttheprojectlifecycle
- Review,negotiate,andprocesschangeorderspromptlytoavoidscheduleorbudgetslippage
- DirectandsupportSuperintendents,subcontractors,andvendorstokeepcrewsalignedandproductive
- UtilizeMSProject,Excel,andthebroaderOfficesuitetomanagedocumentationandreporting
- Jugglemultipleactiveprojectsandcompetingprioritieswithoutlosingsightofdetails
- PartnerwiththeSuperintendenttoconfirmworkiscompletedtoplanandspec
- Operateeffectivelyundertightdeadlines
- Traveltoprojectsitesasneeded
Requirements:
- 5+yearsofgeneralcontracting/projectmanagementexperienceincommercialconstruction
- Provenexperiencemanagingcommercialconstructionprojects,ideallyincludingTIand/orground-upwork
- Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagementorarelatedfieldpreferred
- Comfortableworkingacrossalllevelsofanorganization,fromfieldstafftoexecutiveleadership
- Estimatingbackgroundisaplus
- Strongclient-facingcommunicationskills,withafocusonsatisfactionandlong-termrelationships
- Sound judgment and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure
