GENERAL SUMMARY:

Join our culinary team and make a real difference! You'll craft delicious, nutritious hot meals that nourish our patients and delight our cafeteria guests. As a Cook, you'll take ownership of menu planning, lead food preparation with precision, maintain the highest sanitation standards, and coordinate team efforts to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate on menu planning and production schedules to create diverse, appealing meals.
• Execute hot food preparation with skill and attention to quality and presentation.
• Lead cafeteria meal service and special functions with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards for all work areas and equipment, ensuring food safety compliance.
• Contribute to team success by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience required or graduation from a Culinary Program. Minimum of five (5) years of experience preferred.
