The Experienced School Bus Driver position at Eagle Bus Service involves safely transporting elementary, high school and middle school students in Charlotte, NC. Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, split shift (Morning & Afternoon routes)
- Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
- Pay: $20/hr (Drivers)
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Employment Type: W-2, weekly pay
REQUIREMENTS (Drivers)
- CDL: Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- Driving Record:
- No more than 1 moving violation in the past 12 months
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 5 years
- No DWI in the past 5 years; maximum of 1 DWI ever
- No license suspension/revocation in the past 5 years
- For residents of NC for less than 5 years: must provide acceptable driving record from former state of residence
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safe Operation: Drive the school bus safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws, policies, and procedures. Perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensure bus cleanliness, and report maintenance needs.
- Student Transport: Pick up and drop off students according to established routes and schedules. Maintain accurate attendance and promote a safe, respectful environment on board.
- Discipline & Order: Enforce passenger rules, manage student behavior, and document any incidents.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
