DESCRIPTION

We provide meaningful center-based day habilitation services for our participants to be active so they can build life skills, make choices, and pursue activities and hobbies they enjoy. Imagine spending your day helping people with:

• Leisure activities, hobbies, and social interactions
• Safe internet and computer skills
• Building friendships and peer connections
• Training in decision-making, self-determination, and daily living skills

As one of ourDSP's, you will work directly with 1–10 assigned program participants, offering person-centered support to make independence possible in our St. Marys building and in the community. You will assist participants with skill building, behavioral support, personal care, and medication administration as needed.

In this role, workdays include spending time on your feet, guiding activities, and providing transportation to participants to and from the St. Marys site and community events within a 30+ mile radius.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma/GED or above.
2. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop.
3. A clean driving record and willingness to transport clients in company vehicles.
4. Ability to pass a background and drug screening (a list of the disqualifying offenses can be provided if needed).
