Embark on an exciting contract opportunity providing crucial speech-language services in a school setting near Springville, Alabama. A dynamic elementary school is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to cover a 12-week maternity leave assignment. This full-time, onsite role involves serving a caseload of approximately 50 students in PreK through 4th grade, making a meaningful impact during a critical phase of their development.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping young learners improve communication skills, thrive in collaborative school environments, and bring a strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Active Alabama SLP State License
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Alabama Educator Certification
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Proven ability to work effectively with PreK–4th grade students
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a supportive, engaging environment for all students
