Experienced Meat Cutter

This Experienced Meat Cutter role is a full-time position at a family-owned, medium-sized Shop 'n Save supermarket. Working closely with a small team of 3-5 people, the Meat Cutter will handle meat preparation and customer service tasks in a rotating weekend schedule, typically leaving by 4pm on most days. Daily use of computerized inventory and point-of-sale systems is required, and reliability during weekend shifts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and trim various types of meat to company standards
• Manage inventory control and stock rotation to maintain product freshness
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance within the meat department
• Provide excellent customer service and fulfill special orders
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and ensure quality control
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with store and department managers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in meat cutting
