Construction Coordinator / Superintendent

AMTS is hiring in Lehi, UT for our Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility project! The Construction Coordinator supports the successful execution of construction activities for semiconductor manufacturing facility in Lehi, UT. This position coordinates activities among general contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

The Construction Coordinator serves as a key field-level point of coordination, helping maintain project schedules, track construction progress, resolve issues, manage documentation, and support the transition of completed systems and areas into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities across assigned project areas.
• Work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and TI personnel.
• Monitor construction progress against established schedules and milestones.
• Identify schedule conflicts, work-area conflicts, and potential construction issues.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings, construction meetings, and project reviews.
• Track action items and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, design clarifications, and field changes.
• Assist with change management and documentation of scope changes.
• Track material deliveries, equipment installation, and contractor activities.
• Assist with inspections, quality-control activities, punch-list development, and closeout.
• Support commissioning, system turnover, and operational readiness activities.
• Maintain accurate construction records, reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Communicate construction status, risks, and issues to project leadership.
• Coordinate work to minimize conflicts between construction trades and facility/process requirements.
• Promote compliance with TI safety requirements and applicable construction standards.
• Help ensure contractors perform work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Support coordination of complex facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, controls, and process-support infrastructure.
• Assist with turnover of completed systems and documentation to TI facilities and manufacturing organizations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in construction coordination, project coordination, construction management, facilities, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify problems, coordinate solutions, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data-center, manufacturing, or other high-technology construction projects.
• Experience with semiconductor-fab construction or facilities.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and facility infrastructure.
• Experience with commissioning and system turnover.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling and project-management software.
• Experience with BIM/VDC coordination.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and change orders.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, facilities management, or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating multiple construction trades simultaneously.
