Joliet Staffing is hiring a Logistics Supervisor for a large food distribution center in Minooka, IL. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Salary: $47,500–$52,000 per year
Schedule: GY, overnight, 10 PM Start time
Position Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics and warehouse activities.
- Lead, train, and support warehouse employees to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Monitor receiving, shipping, picking, loading, and inventory activities.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule.
- Coordinate workflow and staffing to meet daily operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure company safety, food safety, and operational procedures are followed.
- Communicate with management and other departments regarding daily operations.
- Address employee and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Track productivity and provide updates to management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or food distribution operations.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety and warehouse safety practices is a plus.
