Warehouse Associate – NON-DRIVER

Kelly Services is urgently hiring a qualified Warehouse Associate for a great opportunity in Reno, NV 89582!

We are looking for dependable, experienced warehouse professionals who are ready to start and can consistently meet productivity and quality expectations.

Position Details
  • Job Title: Warehouse Associate – NON-DRIVER
  • Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Reno, NV 89582
  • Position Type: Temporary with possible Temp-to-Hire
  • Work Boots: Required
  • Forklift: Sit-down propane forklift experience required
  • Driving:NO DRIVING RESPONSIBILITIES

Important: This position does not involve driving. Candidates selected for this role are not permitted to have driving responsibilities at any point during the assignment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fill customer orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders for UPS/LTL shipments.
  • Verify merchandise, quantities, and descriptions against invoices.
  • Process shipping paperwork, including BOL information and customer shipping instructions.
  • Apply appropriate shipping materials and postage/tape.
  • Pack orders into appropriate containers and organize shipments according to truck routes.
  • Use a scanner and Warehouse Management System to pick orders and put away received materials.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting productivity KPIs.
  • Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

Must Have:

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous order picking experience with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Sit-down propane forklift experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity KPIs.
  • Reliable attendance and strong accountability.
  • Stable work history with no frequent job changes.
  • Updated resume.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

  • General knowledge of electrical products is preferred.
  • Ability to follow customer shipping requirements and warehouse procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
