Afterschool Preschool Program Teacher

Location:TOBschool

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–5:30 PM (20 hours/week)

Pay:$18–$20 per hour, based on experience

Age Group:2–5 years old

TOBschool is looking for an energetic, creative, and caringAfterschool Program Teacherto work with children ages 2–5.

We are looking for someone who enjoysdesigning and leading engaging activities, not simply supervising children. The ideal candidate loves working with young children and can create playful, hands-on experiences that keep them learning, exploring, and having fun during the afternoon.

• Helpdesign and plan age-appropriate afterschool activitiesfor children ages 2–5.
• Lead hands-on activities includingarts and crafts, STEAM, sensory play, music and movement, imaginative play, games, and outdoor activities.
• Adapt activities for different ages, abilities, and interests.
• Create a warm, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage creativity, independence, social skills, and cooperation.
• Supervise children and maintain asafe and organized environment.
• Assist with afternoon snack, classroom transitions, and end-of-day routines.
• Help prepare activity materials and keep classroom spaces clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other teachers and school leadership.

• Enjoys working with children ages 2–5.
• Creative and enthusiastic about developing new activities.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and nurturing.
• Comfortable leading a group of young children.
• Able to workMonday through Friday from 1:30 PM–5:30 PM consistently.
• Preschool, childcare, teaching, camp, or afterschool experience is preferred.
• Students pursuingEarly Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related fieldare encouraged to apply.
