As the Treasury Management Officer, you will lead outside sales and business development efforts, focusing on building and growing deposit relationships with businesses, nonprofits, and government entities. You’ll take a consultative, relationship-focused approach to attract new clients, expand services with existing customers, and drive growth in treasury management solutionsespecially non-interest-bearing accounts.

Additionally, you will:

• Develop and execute a consistent outside sales and networking strategy to win new deposit relationships
• Partner with retail and commercial lending teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Manage the full treasury management lifecycle, including sales, demos, implementation, onboarding, and ongoing support
• Maintain strong client relationships by identifying needs and providing tailored treasury solutions
• Oversee customer agreements, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead system setup, training, and transitions for new treasury management clients
• Monitor portfolio growth through sales activity, reporting, and product expansion
• Support and train internal staff on treasury management products and services
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and bookkeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Identify and address potential risks or compliance concerns, including ACH-related responsibilities

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in treasury management, business banking, or financial services preferred
• Proven success in outside sales, business development, and deposit generation
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with business and community leaders
• Ability to analyze financial statements and understand treasury management solutions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, from prospecting to onboarding to client support
• Strong understanding of banking technology and treasury products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
