We are a well established auto body repair facility, seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts for vehicles in our shop
- Assisting service writers regarding part availability, pricing, and compatibility
- Ensure accurate documentation of all transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and returns
- Collaborate with the service writers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts department
- Monitor and manage inventory levels in the parts department
- Adhere to all shop policies, including safety and compliance regulations
Requirements:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and automotive parts software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all tasks
