Roofer

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and replace a variety of roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, metal roofing systems, shingles, tile, slate, shakes, and roof coatings.
• Perform roof tear-offs, repairs, leak investigations, roof maintenance, and complete roof installations.
• Inspect roofing systems and evaluate roof conditions to recommend appropriate repairs or replacement solutions.
• Remove algae, moss, leaves, branches, and other debris from commercial and residential roofs.
• Install insulation, shingles, shakes, slate tiles, and other roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications.
• Install new roofing systems or perform repairs based on customer needs, budgets, and project specifications.
• Fabricate and install metal flashings, edge metal, coping, trim, and roof accessories.
• Install vents and ventilation systems to prevent moisture intrusion and ensure proper roof performance.
• Follow all local building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
• Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Work effectively with crew members, foremen, and superintendents.
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of roofing experience preferred.
• Experience with TPO, PVC, metal roofing systems, shingles, tile, slate, shakes, and roof coatings.
• Ability to perform roof tear-offs, repairs, maintenance, and complete roof system installations.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation specifications.
• Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to the shop or designated job site.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout Northern California when needed.
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
