We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customs Coordinator to manage customs clearance activities for assigned accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customs brokerage, freight forwarding, import/export, or logistics experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.

What You'll Do

As a Customs Brokerage Coordinator, you will take ownership of the import clearance process from arrival through final delivery by:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving inquiries with a high level of professionalism.
  • Preparing and processing U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing entry files and shipment documentation in accordance with company KPIs and service standards.
  • Coordinating shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and container freight stations (CFS).
  • Tracking and tracing inbound shipments from port or airport arrival through final delivery.
  • Reviewing, organizing, and uploading required customs and shipment documentation into operating systems.
  • Processing customer billing, delivery orders, and operational reports accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring adherence to established workflows.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support customer needs, cross-training initiatives, and peak volume periods.
