This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, service-focused, and passionate about supporting clients with their insurance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare new business applications and submissions for producers
- Obtain required information for new business submissions
- Process requests for insurance certificates
- Process endorsements received via mail, email, and fax
- Manage cancellations received via fax, email, or mail
- Process renewals and complete renewal insurance reviews
- Perform commercial audits for current clients
- Monitor and complete lapse prevention reports
- Review and process insurance company claim reports
- Complete daily downloads from carriers
- Maintain organized filing and documentation systems
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Commercial Producers or President
- Contact customers regarding payment or underwriting notices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of P/C commercial lines insurance experience
- Active Michigan resident P/C License
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office)
