General Manager -- Two Cafs (Multi-Unit)

BKCS Group III LLC

Cincinnati, OH • $55,000 to $70,000 / yr • 9/5/2026

Job Description

Job Description

We Change Livez. Come run two of the places where it happens.

Clean Eatz is a locally owned, community-focused healthy-meal caf brand with four Greater Cincinnati locations (Harrison Ave, Newport, Montgomery, and Eastgate) and one big goal: make Cincinnati one of the healthiest cities in America. Dine-in caf, weekly meal plans, Grab 'n Go, catering, marketplace. No subscriptions, no gimmicks, and yes, we have burgers and pizza. Healthy doesn't have to mean chicken and rice.

We're looking for a General Manager to run two of our caf teams. Split supervision across two great teams!

THE JOB

You'll lead two cafs through their leads, and you'll be the face of Clean Eatz in both neighborhoods. Each caf has a Front of House Lead and a Line (Kitchen) Lead, and your week is built around coaching them, comparing the two cafs' numbers, spending your time where the data says you're needed, and getting out into the community where your cafs live. You'll still jump on a register or the line when a shift is short, but if you're doing that every day, something's wrong and it's your job to fix it.

This is a relationship job as much as an operations job. The chamber of commerce should know you. The high school athletic director, the parish office, the youth soccer league, the gym down the street, and the office park across the road should all know you. And so should the regular who comes in every Tuesday for the same meal, because you asked.

YOU WILL

  • Build real relationships in each caf's community: chamber of commerce, schools and athletic programs, parishes, sports teams, gyms, and local businesses. Show up, join in, and be the person they think of when they think healthy food.
  • Know your regulars by name and make the caf feel like it belongs to the neighborhood.
  • Turn those relationships into team meals, catering, meal-plan sign-ups, and events, working with our Business Development Manager who closes and fulfills the bigger ones.
  • Coach and hold accountable the FOH and Line Leads at both cafs, and build the next lead at each one. Relationship-building starts inside the building.
  • Own both cafs' labor, food cost, and prime cost, and compare them side by side every week.
  • Build both schedules in Restaurant365, staffed to demand and inside the labor target.
  • Watch speed of service, ticket times, and labor variance daily in Brink and R365 without having to be in the building.
  • Run structured audits at each caf so a guest gets the same Clean Eatz experience at either location, and be ready for corporate's audit every week.
  • Review Line Lead order requests and place the orders. You hold the purchasing pen.
  • Plan your week between the two cafs from performance, not habit.
  • Recruit, onboard, and keep great people, and cross-train them so a call-off never becomes a crisis.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of restaurant or food-service management, fast-casual or QSR preferred, with real experience leading shift leads or assistant managers, not just hourly staff. Multi-unit experience is a strong plus.
  • A track record of hitting labor and food-cost targets, and the habit of running the business from the reports, not just the floor.
  • ServSafe Manager certified, or able to be within 60 days.
  • Comfortable in restaurant tech (Brink POS, Restaurant365, or similar).
  • A coach at heart: clear expectations, real accountability, delivered with kindness.
  • A natural connector. You've built relationships in a community before (chamber, schools, church, sports, local business) and it energizes you rather than drains you. Tell us about it when you apply.
  • Reliable transportation and the stamina for a split-site week.
  • Hands-on and humble. Willing to plate food or run a register when the team needs it, and disciplined enough not to live there.
  • Passion for health, nutrition, and community. You'll be the face of "We Change Livez" in two neighborhoods.

WHAT YOU GET

  • $55,000+ base salary, depending on experience
  • Performance bonus tied to labor, food cost, audit scores, staffing, and community relationships at both cafs
  • Company-paid ServSafe Manager certification
  • Free and discounted meals
  • A direct line to the owner, real decision-making authority, and a seat at the leadership table of a growing local brand

HOW TO APPLY

Apply with your resume and a short note about the best team you've ever built and the community you're most connected to. We read every application.
