The Manufacturing Site Engineer drives ongoing process improvement initiatives across the full manufacturing value chain. This role focuses on developing and enhancing manufacturing processes and product quality by analyzing products and production methods, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating closely with manufacturing personnel to ensure that improvement plans are effectively implemented.
ResponsibilitiesThis role operates in a dynamic manufacturing environment that includes mixed-model production lines and evolving value streams. The Manufacturing Site Engineer works closely with operations, production, maintenance, and contractors to support capital projects and process improvements. The position involves regular use of engineering and CAD software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ProE, as well as PLC programming interfaces and various manufacturing equipment and tooling. Work typically occurs on-site in a plant setting where attention to safety, quality, and operational efficiency is essential. The engineer may spend time both in office areas for planning, analysis, and documentation, and on the production floor for implementation, observation, and troubleshooting. Standard business hours generally apply, with flexibility required during project execution, outages, and equipment installations. Attire is typically appropriate for a manufacturing environment, balancing professional appearance with safety requirements such as protective gear when working on the production floor.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
