JOB SUMMARY:

A Yard Jockey/Shuttle Driver is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting and staging trailers for loading and transport.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Correctly move trailers in and out of dock with yard goats
• Maneuvering truck and trailer safely in busy industrial environments
• Regularly checking equipment for faults or damages
• Ensuring the equipment complies with all guidelines, including weight restrictions
• Proper pre and post trip inspections and submitting reports indicating truck conditions
