American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is an industry-leading battery metals and critical material technology development and commercialization company. Our Pilot Plant just outside of Reno, Nevada will be the first integrated implementation of our multi-step processing train for the full mechanical processing, physical separation, chemical extraction, and production of commercial-scale battery metals that will be resold back into the battery manufacturing supply chain to enact a low-cost, low environmental impact, and domestically sourced closed-loop circular economy.
Asa QualityTechnicianfor Feedstock Inspection,you willberesponsible forsafely inspectingincomingfeedstockmaterialproviding detailed reports used by cross-functional teams upstream and downstream of our operation.The reporting structure can range fromPack to Cell Material disassemblyto writing Standard OperatingProcedures to train our operations team.
Requirements
- Inspect and label incoming feedstock based on quality metrics
- Disassemble feedstock in a safe mannerrecordingaccuratestep by step process
- Documentation ofnewprocessesand challenges
- Train and supportteam operations daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet document requirements.
- Support audits and ensure records areaccurate, traceable, and accessible.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience inengineering, construction, industrial, or highlyregulatedindustries.
- Experiencewithenergizedelectrical systems
- Knowledge oflow to high voltage systems
- Knowledge of documenting standard operatingprocedures
- Professional training or certificationfor hand tools,NFPA 70E, document writing
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- 1–3years of experience inmanufacturing,servicingorgeneral analysisoflarge battery systemsor
- Proficiencywith document managementand writing standard operating procedures
- Hands-on environment working withpowertools
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Skill &Competencies
- Strong understanding ofenergized systems including electric vehicle packs and energy storage systems
- Proficiencywith DMS/EDMS platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with experience in collaboration tools such as SharePoint or Teams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage high document volumes, competing priorities, andmaintainstrong attention to detail in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey standards and procedures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while collaborating effectively across functions.
- High levelof integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Work in manufacturing environments that may include exposure to noise and dust for extended periods of time
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend at the waist.
- Ability to wear PPE, which includes but is not limited to the following: eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective shoes and shoe coverings.

Expected Pay Range
$25/hr - $40+/hr.
Compensation for this position may vary based on a number of individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package may also include additional components such as bonus, equity, and benefits, which will be detailed upon offer of employment.
