There are both day and evening shifts needed part time and full time. Every other weekend is also required.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in preparation and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes, standards, and dietary modifications.
- Set up and break down food service and dining areas.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Properly operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, infection control, and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Communicate with residents and team members professionally - even when the kitchen gets busy.
- Protect resident privacy and confidential information.
What We're Looking For:We're looking for someone who:
- Previous work experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is preferred.
- Is comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Ability to Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and doing things the right way.
- Can occasionally or frequently lift up to 40 lbs.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED required
Experience:
- One (1) year of food experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary, will train the right candidate).
- Entry Level (0-2 years)
