Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare practitioners by performing patient intake, recording vital signs, and managing electronic health records within a clinical setting. This position involves direct interaction with patients and requires coordination with clinic staff to ensure efficient and compliant operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and prepare patients for examination
• Record and monitor vital signs accurately
• Manage patient information using specific EHR software
• Coordinate with the Office Manager for daily operations and reporting
• Assist clinical staff as needed to facilitate patient care
• Travel occasionally between clinic locations to support operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards
