Springfield Country Club is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team!
We are seeking a bartender who understands that great service is about more than pouring a drink- it's about creating a welcoming experience for our Members and their guests.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous bartending experience required; country club, upscale restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service and proper drink preparation
- Friendly, professional, and personable demeanor
- Ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining a clean and organized bar
- Comfortable working in a face-paced environment and handling multiple orders at once during golf season and busy events
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance
- Ability to anticipate Members' needs and deliver attentive, personalized service
- Must be available for a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club standards
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Members and their guests
- Take food orders and serve dining room(s) as needed
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout shift
- Accurately enter orders and process Member chits
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
- Follow all Club policies, service standards, and responsible alcohol-service guidelines
- Work closely with servers, back servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless Member experience
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
Job types: Part-time
Pay range: $11-$11.50 per hour plus a portion of the service charge on every check, not including potential cash tips and/or gratuity disbursements.
