Logistics Coordinator | Service Metal | Houston, TXPay: $24.00-$28.00/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | OnsiteService Metal is hiring a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipping and ensure customer orders ship on time and error-free. This role is a strong fit for someone with logistics experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.What You'll DoManage and coordinate outbound shipments, including LTL, FTL, Will-Call, and warehouse transfers, expediting priority shipments as neededManage outbound shipment activity, including delivery-note creation and shipment processingUse SAP Business One and MyCarrier to schedule, quote, document, and monitor shipments while securing reliable service, competitive rates, and on-time deliveryMaintain carrier scorecards and support our Shipper of Choice statusCommunicate professionally with carriers, customers, sales, and warehouse leadership to resolve issues and ensure on-time deliveryVerify order quantities, pallet labels, packaging, and truck loading accuracyCoordinate with the pallet-wrapping team to ensure shipments are accurate, secure, and shipment-readyOperate PIT vehicles and assist with material movement as neededWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of logistics, shipping, or freight coordination experience strongly preferredExperience with LTL/FTL shipping; SAP, TMS, or ERP software preferredForklift certification or ability to train to become certifiedStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong communication, organization, and customer service skillsProficient with computer systems and basic reportingAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlinesAbility to lift up to 75 poundsWhere You'll Work This onsite role is based in our Houston warehouse, one of the largest facilities in Service Metal's nationwide distribution network.
