Event Security needed for Several upcoming events, at the Dallas Fair Park Cotton Bowl 09/12/2026
including the State Fair of Texas 2026 season September 24th -October 18th, 2026
Job Fair at Location: 116 Elston Drive Dallas, Texas 75232 Tuesday September 8th- Time: 5:30pm-9:30pm
Wednesday September 9th 116 Elston Drive Dallas, Texas 75232 & Thursday September 10th at Location 2307 Oak Lane, suite 225 Grand Prairie, Texas 75051-
Time: 5:30pm-9:30pm

Responsibilities:

Access Control and Screening
Weapons Detection: Operating automated weapon-detection systems at pedestrian entry gates.
Bag Checks: Inspecting permitted bags and enforcing strict, prohibited item policies.
Credential Verification: Monitoring gates to ensure only authorized staff, vendors, and guests enter.
Minor Chaperone Policies: Enforcing rules requiring visitors under 17 to be accompanied by an adult (21 or older) during specific evening hours.

Patrolling and Crowd Management
Property Patrols: Monitoring perimeters, parking lots, and historical buildings like the Music Hall at Fair Park.
Crowd Flow: Directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, preventing overcrowding, and keeping emergency lanes clear.
Surveillance: Monitoring live CCTV cameras and remote video feeds to track parking areas and large crowds after dark.

The primary duty of security personnel is to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe, visible, and orderly environment.


Requirements:

• Valid Texas security license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
