ITnova is seeking a skilledH-1 Aircraft Mechanic (Flight Line)to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wingaircraftoperations. This positionis responsible forperforming flight line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications toaircraftsystems and components to ensureaircraftsafety, reliability, and mission readiness. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with rotary-wingaircraftmaintenance, a strong understanding of fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance support in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions.
  • Operates aircrafttowing equipment in towing operations.
  • Maintains aircraftfuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems.
  • Performs troubleshooting, repair, modification, corrosion control, and preservation of aircraft and aircraft subsystems, including fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
  • Overhauls aircraft components and subcomponents, as required and authorized.
  • Services ground support equipment and performs preventive maintenance inspections on assigned support equipment, asrequired.
  • Completes maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA and required forms, as required by job assignment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Must be skill-qualified in a primary MOS fromOccFld611X or 617X Aircraft Maintenance, an equivalent skill designation from another service, orpossessvalid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • Must demonstrate operational knowledge of aircraft,aircraftsystems, engines, andcomponentparts.
  • Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
  • Must be able to read and write, interpret, and comply with aircraftmaintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, directives, guides, and forms used on the job.
  • Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA within60 daysafterassignment.
  • Must be able to meet any Government and company licensing or qualification requirements for the position.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and obtain andmaintaina Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required industrial security clearance level for the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
  • Able to pass a fit-for-work physical and/or drug test as required.
  • Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and working overhead.
  • Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line, as required.
  • Must be able to man and perform flight line extinguisher duties, as required.
  • If required, must be able to pass a DOT physical andoperatepowered industrial trucks.
  • If required, must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 to 4 hours.
  • If required, must be able to performconfined-spaceactivities.
  • Travel may be required.
